Northbrook Obituary: Toni Tonelli, 69
A celebration of life for the owner of Tonelli's Restaurant in Northbrook will be held in North Carolina before services in Illinois.
Toni Carol Pomerantz Tonelli 69, of Kure Beach, North Carolina, formerly of Northbrook, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter with her loving family at her side.
Toni was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on May 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Irwin and Lois Kamin Pomerantz.

She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and friend to all. Toni was also the proud owner of Tonelli’s Restaurant in Northbrook, Illinois.
Surviving are her husband Renato Tonelli, son Joseph Tonelli, daughter Kim Graf and husband Tyler of Carolina Beach, brothers Rick Pomerantz and wife Jackie, and Jim Pomerantz. Grandchildren Dylan and Spencer Graf and Kaplan Tonelli. A number of nephews and nieces also survive.

A Celebration of Toni’s Life will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel with a reception to follow at Jack Mackerel’s Island Grill 113 K Ave. Kure Beach, NC 28449.
Dates for future service in Northbrook to be announced.
