Northbrook Park District provides program for e-learners

Community TIES is a day program held at the Northbrook Sports Center for children in grades K-8 with a hybrid school schedule. This opportunity is available to residents, full-time teachers in School Districts 27, 28, 30, 31, 225 and non-resident families.

Community TIES has been created to meet the community's need for support for families who have alternative learning schedules. Children will have the opportunity to engage in virtual learning with adult supervision and assistance as needed.

Program features:

• Supervision and assistance for virtual learning lessons
• Additional supervised activities including:
• Indoor and outdoor games
• Sports
• Arts and crafts
• Fun challenges
• ADA assistance available
• Staff to child ratio of 1:10
• CDC and IDPH protocols followed including cleaning and sanitization
