Northbrook Police Blotter: Criminal Sex Abuse, Retail Theft, Suspended License
The latest arrest and incident reports from the Northbrook Police Department.

Criminal Sexual Abuse
Matthew S. Stock, 19, of 1414 Cedar, Northbrook, was charged Jan. 21 with misdemeanor criminal sexual abuse, Class 3 felony traveling to meet a minor and Class 4 felony grooming. According to police, Stock surrendered himself at the police station. He was processed and released after posting a cash portion of an $80,000 bond. A Jan. 25 court date is scheduled.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Hugo Roberto Aguilar, 29, of 420 Center St., Waukegan, was cited Jan. 21 at Shermer Road and Angle Street with possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped for a traffic violation. A March 4 court date has been scheduled.

Driving with a Suspended License
Lonnie L. Springman, 54, of 1410 Glencoe, Highland Park, was charged Jan 19 with driving with a suspended license and no insurance at Waukegan and Maple roads. He was released on bond pending a March 1 court date.
Robert Y. Shamoon, 28, of 3700 Whirlaway, Northbrook, was charged Jan. 15 with driving with a suspended license and a loud muffler at Shermer and Waukegan roads. A March 1 court date has been scheduled.
Suspended Registration
Quiyann Laseter, 38, of 402 Valentine, Oswego, was charged Jan. 17 with driving with suspended and expired registration and an expired license in the 1200 block of Shermer Road. He was released on bond pending a Feb. 29 court date.
Retail Theft
Joo Yun Lim, 69, of 2452 Farnsworth, Northbrook, was cited Jan. 17 with retail theft in the 800 block of Willow Road. According to the loss prevention agent, Lim exited the store failing to pay for a comforter valued at $119. She was released on bond pending a Feb. 8 court date.
Brian M. Tite, 53, of 1724 Robin Ln., Glenview, was charged Jan. 16 with retail theft in the 1100 block of Church Street. According to police, store security observed the defendant remove $314 in store merchandise from display shelves and conceal it in a bag. The defendant then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. A few days later, store security observed the same offender in the store and contacted police. The offender was placed under arrest for the earlier theft, processed and released after posting bond. The store supplied a copy of the video for the day of the theft. Tite was given a March 4 court date.
Kelly D. Berogan, 43, of 125 W. Erie, Spring Valley, was cited Jan. 15 with retail theft in the 1-100 block of Skokie Highway. According to police, tore loss prevention agent observed the defendant remove three bottles of fragrance from a display counter. The defendant then placed the bottles, valued at a total of $54, in her bag and exited the store. The loss prevention agent then stopped the defendant as she was exiting where the agent recovered the bottles. A March 4 court date has been scheduled.
