Northbrook Woman Wary of Willow Road Development

A developer is planning to build 18 homes on Willow Road, but one longtime Northbrook resident has hired an attorney to fight it.

The Northbrook Star reports Jeanne White, whose great-grandmother’s house in the 100 block of Highland Road sits 5.1 acres from the planned development, claims the home flooded several times since Jasper Court was developed in the vicinity some 15 years ago even though village officials agreed with developers at the time that it wouldn’t.

Now, Pulte Homes plans to build Jasper Court east, running along south of White’s backyard, with houses on each side of the road.
