Tilted Kilt Closing Schaumburg Location

SCHAUMBURG, IL — Good times will no longer be on tap at Tilted Kilt Schaumburg. The UK-inspired pub chain with kilt-clad waitresses serving fish 'n' chips and bar food is closing its doors after nine years at 1140 E Higgins Road, according to a social media post.

"It is through our great team and loyal guests that we have had such a tremendous run," the Facebook post from Saturday reads. "It saddens us to say, that run has come to an end."

The sports bar and restaurant chain, which features scantily clad female servers in plaid skirts, also has locations in Chicago, Boilingbrook and Skokie.

"We would like to give a special shout out to and thanks to all those who have supported Tilted Kilt Schaumburg over the years and so many thanks to our Tilted Kilt Schaumburg family," the post concludes.
