Watercolors by Y Art Students on Display in Community Gallery

Art is for sale, with a portion of the sale benefiting the Y's Visual Arts Program.

Art students Karen Bonner and Tegwen Conzemius, and their teacher Fran Vail, display their watercolor paintings this month in the North Suburban YMCA's Community Gallery. The paintings are for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Y's Visual Arts Program.

"Art class is a wonderful place to exchange ideas and tips, and paint in a safe and friendly environment. Our classes explore different subjects and ways to express our personal views and styles," commented Vail.

The summer session of Fran Vail's adult watercolors class starts on Monday, June 10th. To register or learn more about the Y's Visual Arts Program go to www.nsymca.org.
