4 Burglaries In 12 Hours In North Center, Lincoln Square

The burglar broke into the homes by force or through unlocked doors last Friday, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are warning North Side residents of a string of burglaries in North Center, Lincoln Square and Ravenswood. The burglaries happened within 12 hours on July 13, police said. Police are currently searching for a suspect.

The burglar broke into the homes by force or through unlocked doors, police said.

The burglaries happened last Friday in the following locations:

  • 4400 block of N. Wolcott Ave., at around 7:15 a.m.
  • 4200 block of N. Lincoln Ave., between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • 4600 block of N. Rockwell St., at around 11 a.m.
  • 4500 block of N. Greenview Ave., at around 12 p.m.

The description of the offender was vague — a 150 to 170 pound man standing 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, police said.
