Chicago Parent Magazine Lists 7 Things to do in Roscoe Village

The family magazine featured the Village in the City in their recent day guide, listing seven things families can do together at area businesses and parks.

Roscoe Village caught the eye of Chicago Parent Magazine, and now the monthly publication is sharing its to-do list for families in the Village in the City.

“Roscoe Village has a reputation as prime real estate for young families, which also means it's a retail mecca for anyone with kids,” reporter Elizabeth Diffin writes. “The L-shaped stretch of Roscoe Street and Belmont Avenue makes for a walkable day of shopping, fun for parents and little ones alike.”

Diffin outlines seven things residents with families and children can do to keep buys in Roscoe Village.
  1. Kickin’—The trendy maternity store also caught the attention of ABC recently.
  2. Little Threads—The childrens boutique sells everything from toys to clothes, and there’s even a weekly story time on Mondays.
  3. John’s Place—Chicago Parent says the menu has Healthy Fare for Kids.
  4. The Denim Lounge—Both parents and children can shop at this local business.
  5. Paciugo—For those with a sweet tooth, head down Roscoe near Damen Avenue for some gelato and sorbet.
  6. Twinkle, Twinkle Little One—Interior design fanatics can find everything for a nursery here.
  7. Fellger Park—End the day with your little one tuckering himself out on the playground and running through the water feature.
