Clay and Arts Festival Friday, Roscoe Village Sidewalk Sales Saturday
Looking for a good time this weekend? Here are two events in the community where you can try something new.
Clay and Arts Festival
Lane Tech College Prep High School is hosting its second annual Clay and Arts Festival on Friday from 3-8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and there’s plenty of entertainment planned to stay busy on a Friday night.
Art activities like tie-dying, henna tattoo painting and spray paint art—just to name a few—will be featured along games like a dunk tank (featuring teachers as the targets). It’s combined with Lane Tech musicians, the “Clay Olympics,” and exibits of both students and teachers’ artwork.
While the event in general is free, there is cost associated with things like the raffle, food and the art sale.
