Dead Bug, Dirty Kitchen Found at Endgrain: Health Inspections
See how your favorite Northcenter and Roscoe Village restaurants fared on Chicago Health Department inspections.

Restaurants and businesses can pass, pass with conditions or fail using a standardized procedure. Establishments that pass don't have any critical or serious violations.
Those that receive 'pass with conditions' had serious violations, but the violations were corrected during the inspection. Failed establishments had serious violations that weren't correctable during the inspection. A fail rating does not mean the business's license is automatically suspended. All inspections are done on a routine canvass, unless otherwise noted.
Katerina’s Street of Dreams, 1920 W. Irving Park Road

Results: Pass
Violations: The inspector found a leak in the water pipe under the exposed handsink and a missing splash guard.
Jimmy John’s Sandwich Shop, 2115 W. Roscoe St.
Inspection date: Aug. 1
Results: Pass with Conditions
Violations: This visit was the result of a complaint. While there, inspectors found the restaurant running without a certified food manager on site. That earned the sandwich shop a serious citation.
