Ice-Skating Ribbon at Maggie Daley Park Opens This Saturday
Ice skating will be free on Saturday. Skate rentals are $12.
The new ice-skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park will open to the public this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Admission to the ice-skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park will be free on Saturday, but skate rentals will cost $12. This is the first public attraction at the $55 million park named for the late former first lady of Chicago, who died in 2011. Construction on the park, which sits on top of an underground parking garage next to Millennium Park, will continue.
