Largest Volleyball Leagues In The World 'Set' To Begin Season
Thousands of Chicagoans will begin playing beach volleyball next week.

CHICAGO, IL — Chicagoans are absolutely crazy about beach volleyball. So much so, in fact, that the Windy City is home to the world's largest beach volleyball leagues, according to the Chicago Sport & Social Club. More than 20,000 people participate in the club's volleyball leagues, the group said.
The volleyball leagues kick off next Tuesday, May 22, at North Avenue Beach. Leagues at Montrose Beach and Oak Street Beach begin May 29, the club said.
Spots are still available in the leagues for May and July sessions, the club said. The club welcomes all beach volleyball skill levels, from beginner to intermediate.
