New French Restaurant Le Sud Coming To Roscoe Village
The new eatery will be taking over the former Que Rico spot.

CHICAGO, IL — A French restaurant is scheduled to open its doors this summer in Roscoe Village, owners said. Le Sud, featuring a southeastern France-inspired menu, will take over the former Que Rico! spot at 2301 W. Roscoe Street, owners confirmed on Facebook. The new eatery will feature rooftop dining and a menu focused on food from Provence, a region in France near the Mediterranean Sea.
Le Sud's opening, first reported by Eater Chicago, has been teased on Facebook and Instagram over the past few months, with pictures of gourmet dishes and specialty wines.
The new eatery will have bars on both indoor floors, with seating for about 120 people, Eater reported. The rooftop space will have room for about 60, and a sidewalk patio will also be added, owners told Eater.
