North Center's Summer Concert Series: Alpine Subs Up Next
The Lake View restaurant Zia Lago Vista will be handling out free samples at the concert.

CHICAGO, IL — Musicians from across Chicagoland and the Midwest come to North Center every Wednesday to entertain people of all ages in the neighborhood's Town Square. The free weekly concert series is held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. between Belle Plaine, Damen and Lincoln (across from CVS). The series will run until Aug. 22.
Hosted by the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce, the series features a range of music: country, rock, pop, polka, opera and more. Each week a different local restaurant hands out samples to concert-goers.
The series also offers activities for kids: toys, coloring books, sidewalk chalk and other entertainment.
