Police Warn Of Carjackings, Armed Robberies On North Side
Victims were robbed at gunpoint in Sheridan Park, Lake View and Old Irving Park, police said.

CHICAGO — Police are warning of armed carjackings and robberies on the city's North Side. A group of men is approaching people who are either alone on the street or sitting in their vehicles, and robbing the victims at gunpoint, police warned.
At least four people were targeted this week, police said.
Police said the carjackings and armed robberies occurred in the following locations:

- 1400 block of West Sunnyside Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. Monday
- 2900 block of North Paulina Street at around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday
- 3600 block of North Greenview Avenue at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday
- 2300 block of West Waveland Avenue at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday
