Police Warn Of Rim And Tire Thefts In North Center, Lake View
Thieves have been stealing the tires and rims off cars on the North Side, police said.
CHICAGO — Thieves have been stealing tires and rims off vehicles in the North Center and Lake View neighborhoods, police said in a community alert Wednesday. The offenders have been targeting cars on residential streets during overnight hours, according to the alert.
The thefts occurred:
- in the 3600 block of North Ravenswood between Nov. 29 and Nov.30.
- in the 3100 block of North Halsted between Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.
- in the 2000 block of West Waveland between Dec. 6 and Dec. 7.
- in the 2200 block of West Grace between Dec. 7 and 8.
