Red Line Service Halted At Addison Station For Track Upgrades
Red Line service at Addison will disrupted throughout March, officials said. Here's when the closures will occur.

CHICAGO — Red Line passengers who use the Addison Station in Wrigleyville can expect disrupted service throughout March, CTA said. Tracks are being upgraded in the area as part of the Red and Purple Line "modernization project."
From March 11 to 25, only southbound Red Line trains will stop at Addison, CTA officials said. Northbound passengers are advised to use the Sheridan or Belmont Stations.
The Addison stop was closed over the weekend, and will shut down again March 29 to April 1, CTA said. Shuttle buses will be offered to passengers who need to get to the next stations.
