Roscoe Village Winterfest: Schedule, Activities

CHICAGO — The popular Roscoe Village Winterfest is back, with trolley rides, holiday specials at local shops and of course the annual neighborhood tree lighting ceremony. The two-day festival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2.

The event will begin with the tree lighting ceremony and caroling at 5 p.m. at Turquoise Cafe, 2147 W. Roscoe St. Then the following businesses will be offering complimentary treats, drinks, and specials until 9 p.m.:

Then on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., people of all ages are invited to enjoy children's activities, a horse-drawn sleigh, carolers, trolley rides and Santa and Mrs. Claus.
