Stadium Seating Leaves Northcenter for the Suburbs
See what's taking over the baseball memorabilia shop.

A business that sells authentic stadium seating is leaving Northcenter for the suburbs.
Stadium Seats Store at 4251 N. Lincoln Ave. has been selling game-used seats from Wrigley Field and Comiskey Park in the neighborhood since 2003.
But now, owner Fred Jacobs said it's time to move on. He is moving the shop to Schaumburg after the building's landlords rented to another tenant.
"We had very little walk-in traffic at that location, most of it was online anyway so we'll be moving to more of a warehouse space," Jacobs said.
That other tenant is next door neighbor Half Acre Beer Company. A representative from the brewery said the space would be used for storage.
Another business in the building, Strata Contracts, is moving to Damen and Foster avenues.
