A Sweet Reminder: The 2nd Annual Candyality 5K is September 21

Tap into your inner child as you embark on the ultimate candy adventure! Participate in the Candyality 5K Run & Walk to be held along Chicago’s licorice lakefront on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. The event is produced by Adrenaline Special Events (ASE) and presented by Candyality. It starts and ends on the pass at Lincoln Park, 1650 N. Stockton Drive in Chicago.

Royal treasures for participants will include a short sleeve dri-fit shirt, fanny pack and goody bag. Various confections will be available throughout the course and at the finish line.

“We’re excited for the sweet response Candyality received during our inaugural year,” said Aaron Del Mar, ASE founder. “This year’s escapades will continue to create nostalgic, delectable memories for participants.”

Proceeds from this sugar-coated occasion will benefit GirlForward, a local nonprofit, dedicated to empowering young women who are victims of physical violence, poverty, isolation, trauma and other serious life challenges.

All participants receive a candy-themed finisher’s medal upon completing their candy filled adventure! Awards and a customized Candyality 5K medal will be given to the top three overall candy king and frosty queen finishers and the top three runners of each age group.
