Tasting Menu Revealed for North Center RestauranTour

Neighborhood foodies looking to take a tour around North Center are in luck, as the annual RestauranTour revs up to dish out tasty treats.

The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the tour around local eateries on Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. Guests can snag a Tasting Passport at the start of the event that will grant them free food and drinks the rest of the night.

And from ribeye steak with fingerling potatoes to a mini pulled pork and rib sampler, the menu is as diverse as the 18 restaurants participating.

• A.J. Hudson's Public House: ribeye steak with fingerling potatoes, oyster mushrooms and a cauliflower puree, bourbon apple bread pudding
• Armand's Pizzeria: slice of pizza
• Big Bricks: smoked BBQ chicken wings
• Bottles & Cans: wine samples
• Brownstone: mini adobo chicken taco, mini steak taco
• Browntrout: chicken liver pate, concord grape & rice pudding
• Celtic Crown Public House: Buffalo chicken wings
• Corner 41 Bar and Grill: BBQ chicken wings and hummus plate
• Horseshoe Café: mini pulled pork and rib sampler
• Johnny Casserole: chicken pot pie and veggie pot pie
• Julius Meinl: Vienna torte, mini-lemon tart
• Monte Gael: Scotch egg and fried oysters
• Mrs. Murphy and Sons Irish Bistro: brioche bread pudding with whiskey caramel sauce, cinnamon mascarpone cream and walnuts
• Namo Thai Cuisine: moo ping (grilled Thai style pork with cucumber salad), ginger cherry drink
• Smokin' Woody's: pulled pork
• Sweet Sensations Pastry: mini cupcakes
• The Piggery: rib sampler and coleslaw
• Wild Goose: tequila lime chicken sandwich

Tickets can be purchased for $30 in advance, or $35 on the night of the event. Guests can also purchase them at the chamber of commerce located at 4054 N. Lincoln Ave. or here online.
