Tonight: Liam David, Steve Frisbee Play at Montrose Green

It's a part of the Montrose Green's annual "Music in the Park" event. Second on the list of summer performers is this pop duo. Give them a listen here.

With sunny weather Wednesday can't be beat, meaning it’s the perfect day to swing over to Montrose Green, relax and listen to live music in the garden.

Organized by the Northcenter Neighborhood Association, Music in the Garden brings local talent to the area’s community garden at 1819 W. Montrose Ave. Residents can sit amongst the nearly 140 garden plots, relax and listen to live music.

Second on the list of summer musicians is Steve Frisbie and Liam Davis. The duo is set to perform on Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

"With their spellbinding vocal harmonies, Steve Frisbie and Liam Davis fronted the power pop band Frisbie in the early 21st century," NNA writes on its website. "Each has moved on to individual success (with Davis earning a Grammy nomination), but they continue to nurture their special connection. With talent, good fortune, and hundreds of gigs on their side, Frisbie and Davis keep lifting their voices higher."

Steve Frisbie and Liam Davis come after indie-rock group Give Back performed in June.

Both are veterans of Music in the Garden after performing last year, with their credits including the Chicago Symphony, the Frank Sinatra Orchestra and the U.S. Army Chamber Orchestra used for White House State functions.
