Victim Robbed At Gunpoint In Lake View Home Invasion: Cops
Police have released surveillance images of two men wanted in connection with a North Side armed break-in.
CHICAGO — Police are seeking the public's help identifying two men wanted in connection with an armed home invasion in the Lake View neighborhood. A victim was robbed at gunpoint around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday in the 3900 block of North Pine Grove Avenue, police said.
The suspects went into an apartment building vestibule and waited for someone to leave the building to gain entry, police said. The offenders then went into an unlocked apartment, according to a police community alert.
The suspects were going through the victim's property, when the victim came home, police said.

One of the suspects pulled the victim inside, displayed a handgun and demanded the victim's property, according to the alert. The other offender went through the victim's pockets, police said. The suspects then fled the scene with the victim's property, according to police.
One of the suspects is described as a black or Hispanic man, between 18-30 years old, with an olive complexion and facial hair, police said. He was wearing a gray winter hat, dark pants, dark shoes and carrying a black and white backpack.

The other suspect is described as a black man between 18-25 years old, with a medium to dark complexion, police said. He was wearing a black coat, a multi colored shirt, light and dark multi colored jeans, dark shoes and carrying a black backpack with a checkered print.
