West Lakeview Stores Participate In 'Give Back Night' For Schools

CHICAGO, IL — This Thursday, many local businesses in Lake View will be participating in Give-back Night, a fundraiser for local schools. On the third Thursday of every month until October, 15 percent of your purchases at the participating stores will go to supporting your local community, organizers said. If you decide to partake in the event, simply leave your receipt in the collection box or mention "Give-Back Night" at the businesses.

This Thursday's fundraiser will go to West Lakeview schools. Donations will benefit Friends of Lake View High School, Friends of Blaine, Friends of Burley and Hamilton Action Team, organizers with the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce said.
