Woman Attacked While Jogging In Lake View
A woman was assaulted on the Lakefront Trail Sunday morning, police said.
CHICAGO — A 30-year-old woman was attacked in the Lake View neighborhood Sunday morning. The woman was jogging on the Lakefront Trail in the 3700 block of North Recreation Drive around 8 a.m., when a man pushed her to the ground and tried to choke her, police said.
The woman screamed and fought back, and was able to get away, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a bright red shirt and long pants, police said. He had dreadlocks and light facial hair, according to police.
