Yard Sale Blitz Planned in Northcenter

There’s no better time to find treasures and sell a few of your own than during an organized, neighborhood yard sale.

The Northcenter Neighborhood Association is putting together their second annual NNA Yard Sale, an easy excuse for residents to clean out their closets and garages.

Slated for June 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the yard sale will call on as many neighbors as possible to participate, therefore drawing more shoppers and more items to browse. The group is charging $10 for members and $15 for non-members to participate, and all costs will be used to promote the big day.

Residents interested in signing up can register via NNA’s website. And as organizers say, “Clusters count! The more houses that are involved on one block, the more likely you are to get visitors.” So that means start knocking on your neighbors’ doors.
