Amazon 4-Star Store Opens In Oak Brook

OAK BROOK, IL — The Chicago area's first Amazon 4-star store opened Wednesday in Oak Brook. Amazon 4-star, located at the Oakbrook Center, sells highly rated products from top categories across all of Amazon.com, including Amazon devices and other consumer electronics, kitchen items, home appliances, toys, books, games and more, according to a news release from Amazon.

Everything in store is rated 4 stars and above by Amazon customers, is a top seller or new and trending. The store at Oakbrook Center, 2228 Oakbrook Center, is only the seventh Amazon 4-star location nationwide.

"Our stores are highly-curated and a direct reflection of our customers — what they're buying and what they're loving," according to the Amazon news release.

The Oak Brook store includes features like "Trending Around Chicago," "Most-Wished-For Books on Amazon.com," "Live Your Best Life," "This Season’s Top Toys" and "Seasonal Decor," according to Amazon officials. There will also be customer review cards with quotes from actual customer reviews "to make it easy and fun for customers to discover great products they’ll love."

The device section at the store gives customers the opportunity to test drive Amazon devices and accessories — including Echo and smart home accessories that work with Alexa — while having Amazon 4-star associates on hand to answer questions.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 pm. on Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
