Bath and Tennis Club to see improvements next year

The manager of the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club suggested $60,000 worth of improvements to the village board, according to The Doings.

Chris Thompson, manager of the Bath & Tennis Club, estimated that $25,000 is needed for a wading pool, and $35,000 would be used to replace aging carpet and cover old wood paneling in the clubhouse. The village board is including these costs in their budget for next year.

Thompson suggested that adding a wading pool designed for kids, and improving the appearance of the village-owned club would increase membership.

An annual membership at the Bath and Tennis Club costs $755 for Oak Brook families. The cost for non-resident families is $1,250.
