Butler School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Butler is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Butler School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 10/9: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/20: BJH End of First Quarter
• 10/27: BF End of First Trimester

November

• 11/3: Half Day for Students (School Improvement), Parent Visitation (BJH)
• 11/9: BJH and BF Parent Teacher Conferences (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
• 11/16: BJH and BF Parent Teacher Conferences (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
• 11/21 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/6: BJH Parent Teacher Conferences (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
