Construction Wraps Up On Rush Orthopedic Center In Oak Brook

The 100,000 square foot facility will feature specialty care, advanced imaging, and a surgical center

OAK BROOK, IL -- Crews have finished construction on the new Rush Oak Brook Orthopedic Center, a sprawling three-story facility that will house dozens of medical specialists, an advanced imaging center, and space for physical therapy. Additionally, the new orthopedic center will have a retail space and a parking garage that can accommodate 500 cars, according to RE Journals, a real estate publication.

Helmed by Leopardo Companies, Inc., construction of the Rush Oak Brook Orthopedic Center was a joint venture between Midwest Orthopedics at Rush and Rush University Medical Center. The first floor will focus on orthopedic care, bringing in the staff and tools for physical therapy, X-rays, and MRIs.

The other two floors of the orthopedic center will be equipped with CT scanning, breast imaging, and ultrasound technologies. A surgery center with six operating rooms will provide outpatient surgical services.
