EMH Foundation’s Hope. Lives. Here. cancer fundraising event Oct. 25 in Oak Brook

The annual event is held to raise funds for the Nancy W. Knowles Cancer Center and Elmhurst Hospital's oncology services.

The Elmhurst Memorial Hospital (EMH) Foundation will host its Hope. Lives. Here. Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. at the Butterfield Country Club, 2800 Midwest Rd. in Oak Brook.

The annual event is held to increase awareness and raise funds for the Nancy W. Knowles Cancer Center and Elmhurst Hospital’s oncology services.

Proceeds from the Luncheon are used to provide patients with educational materials to learn more about their specific needs, provide community screenings for early detection and prevention, and offer the latest therapies, such as the use of the DigniCap Scalp Cooling System to lessen hair loss during chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer.

Speakers at the Luncheon include Christina Lavin, MS, LCGC, Genetic Counselor, Nancy W. Knowles Cancer Center and Deborah Lindner, MD, FACOG, LCGC, Chief Medical Officer, Bright Pink, an organization with the mission of saving women’s lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age.
