Ferrara Candy To Find New Home In Old Chicago Post Office
The candy company plans to make the shift from Oakbrook Terrace in 2019.

OAK BROOK, IL -- Another Oak Brook-area icon is planning to move its corporate headquarters to Chicago. Ferrara Pan, the company that makes Sweet Tarts, Lemonheads, and Gobstoppers, will relocate from Oakbrook Terrace to downtown Chicago's Old Post Office, which is located at 433 W. Van Buren, Chicago Tribune reports.
The company and its roughly 400 employees will occupy 77,000 square feet in the historic building, which was built in 1921.
Ferrara Candy itself has a storied history that's rooted in Chicago. Before setting up shop in Oakbrook Terrace, the original Ferrara Pan Candy got its start in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood in the early 1900s.
