DuPage County will be sponsoring a Household Hazardous (Chemical) Waste Event on Saturday November 14, 2020 from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Du Page County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Rd., Wheaton, Il

Used oil, used Antifreeze / Old Gasoline / Auto Fluids Household Chemicals & Cleaners Solvents / Pool Chemicals Cooking Oil Poisons / Pesticides Paint thinners Aerosol paints Oil Based Paints & Stains Unwanted Medication (Non-DEA controlled) Lawn & Garden Chemicals Liquid & Solid Fertilizers Rechargeable & Lithium Batteries Automotive & Boat Batteries Fluorescent Light bulbs (Limit 15/Car) Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs) Mercury & Mercury Containing Items Small Propane Tanks Only Small Refrigerant Tanks Only

Items Not Accepted Include:

Ammunition Fireworks & Explosives Fire Extinguishers Latex Based Paint Sharps/Syringes Medical Waste DEA Controlled Medication DEA Controlled Substances Radioactive Material Gas Cylinders (except small handheld propane) Refrigerants (except small handheld size) Household Garbage Business or Institutional Waste Empty Containers Traditional Recyclables

Please Remember the Disposal of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Items like Masks, Gloves, Wipes should be placed in the Trash
