L. L. Bean To Open In Oakbrook Center

OAK BROOK, IL --- L.L. Bean will soon be opening its third Chicagoland store in Oakbrook Center. The retailer will host a three-day grand opening that starts on Nov. 9 and includes gift card giveaways, outdoor yoga, live music, and more.

Geared toward customers with an active lifestyle, the Oak Brook L.L. Bean store will fill 17,500 square feet of space inside the village's mall with apparel, outerwear, and other signature items. Shoppers will also be able to take part in field classes that are part of L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery Program to learn archery, kayaking, and other skills.

The L.L. Bean grand opening festivities kick off at 6 a.m. on Nov. 9, when customers line up for a chance to win a $500 store gift card. The first 200 customers who arrive will get a gift card of up to $500.

On Nov. 10 and 11, the store will host an outdoor block party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music from local bands between noon and 2 p.m. If you're an early riser, you can take part in free outdoor yoga between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
