Man Shot During Domestic Dispute In Villa Park: Sheriff

VILLA PARK, IL --- An 36-year-old man is in stable condition after he was allegedly shot during a domestic dispute in Villa Park early Saturday. Police say they were called to a home in the 1S100 block of Radford Lane around 1 a.m. to report that a man had been shot at the home.

DuPage County Sheriff's deputies reportedly found the victim conscious inside the residence and took him to a nearby hospital.

In a press release, DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick said a male suspect fled the scene after the incident and is not yet in custody. He stressed that there is no immediate threat to the community at large.
