Oak Brook Encourages Residents To Complete Census Survey

The U.S. Census Bureau is sending reminder notice postcards to an estimated 55 million households that have not yet responded to the 2020 Census. About 76.2% of households in Oak Brook have already responded since invitations began arriving in mailboxes on March 12. Those households that have not yet responded to the census will receive an in person visit by a census taker to collect their information later this summer.

The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for the next decade. That funding shapes many different aspects of every community, no matter the size, no matter the location.
