Oak Brook Plans 9/11 Anniversary Event
The village will honor the 17th anniversary of 9/11 with guest speakers, songs, and other highlights.

OAK BROOK, IL — Oak Brook officials are planning a celebration to honor the 17th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. The event is scheduled for September 11 at Butler Government Center.
Residents are invited to join public officials, police, and firefighters at 9 a.m. to kick off the event. Guest speakers will be in attendance to pay tribute to the victims and survivors of the tragic event. Throughout the day, patriotic songs will be performed as guests reflect on the anniversary of September 11.
