Oak Brook Polar Plunge Raises $85,000 For Special Olympics
Police and residents raised over $85,000 to help Special Olympics Illinois.

OAK BROOK, IL — Police and residents didn't mind getting a little chilly in the waters at Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club Saturday. After all, it was all for a good cause. The annual Oak Brook Polar Plunge raised more than $85,000 for Special Olympics Illinois.
Plungers woke up early, donned sunglasses, and brought colorful donut-shaped inner tubes to show their enthusiasm and support. Scores of people crowded the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club to watch and participate.
