Oakbrook Center Offers Fun Holiday Activities

OAK BROOK, IL --- In the coming weeks, Oakbrook Center will be packed with shoppers browsing for the perfect holiday gifts. To add to the festive spirit, the mall will offer a variety of holiday activities for kids and families to take part in, including festive pet pics, dinner with Santa, and more.

Visits with Santa Claus

Santa Claus has made his way from the North Pole to Oakbrook Center to welcome kids for photo opportunities and a chance to hear what they want for Christmas. Santa Claus will be at the mall through Dec. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Parents can also contact Santa ahead of time to let him know what their kids want and whether they've been naughty or nice.

Pet Holiday Pics

Dress your four-legged friend up in their best festive duds and head to Oakbrook Center on Mondays for a special pet pic night. Through Dec. 17, dogs and cats can get their photos taken with Santa on Mondays between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Spaghetti Dinner with Santa

Santa may love milk and cookies, but he'll be dining on spaghetti with special guests at Maggiano's Little Italy on Dec. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Reserve your spot in advance for dinner with Santa, which includes spaghetti marinara, ziti with butter, salad, and dessert.. Tickets for the dinner are $25 per person and is open to guests ages 2 and older.
