Taste Of Oak Brook 2018: Food, Fireworks, Fun
The festival brings stilt walkers, pony rides, live music, and local eateries to Oak Brook.

OAK BROOK, IL — The aroma of freshly seared meats, fried treats, baked goods, and other delectable treats will fill the air on the Oak Brook Polo Field on July 3 for the 2018 Taste of Oak Brook. The festivities are set to kick off at 4 p.m. face painting, a petting zoo, a beer garden, and nearly a dozen local restaurants.
This year, festival goers can sample treats from:
- Gibson's Steakhouse
- Kama Bistro
- Labriola Bakery and Cafe
- McCormick and Schmick's
- Novi's Beef
- Paul's Pizza and Hot Dogs
- Pinstripes Bocce and Bistro
- Real Urban Barbeque
- Rock Sugar
- Shree
If you need a refreshment, you can visit the beverage tent to indulge in beer, sangria, wine, and soda.

There are plenty of family-friendly activities planned to keep kids entertained, from stilt walkers and balloon artists to pony rides and a bounce house. Several musical acts are also slated to perform throughout the festival. The featured bands include:

- Martini Lunch Trio
- Nashville Electric Company
- 97Nine
After dark, guests can pull up a blanket or lawn chair to watch the village's annual fireworks display. July 4 is set as the rain date if weather doesn't cooperate.
