Taste Of Oak Brook Serves Up Fun, Food and Fireworks
The Taste of Oak Brook takes place Monday July 3 bites from McCormick and Schmick's, Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, Gibson's and more.

OAK BROOK, IL — The annual Taste of Oak Brook will entertain residents with delicious morsels, live bands and —of course— fireworks Monday, July 3. The family-friendly will take place at the Oak Brook Polo Grounds from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Nearly a dozen local eateries will have booths this year. Michael Jordan's Restaurant, which opens in Oak Brook July 17, will offer a sneak preview of its menu. Eager diners can get their hands on Indian eats from Shree, fall-off-the-bone ribs from Real Urban Barbecue and award-winning Italian beef from Novi's Beef. Bartenders will offer adult refreshments at the Taste of Oak Brook's beverage tent.
The event also offers a variety of activities to keep kids busy. Face painters, stilt walkers and balloon artists will be on hand. Kids can also meet animals up close and personal at a petting zoo.

The music for Taste of Oak Brook includes local artists High Fidelity, Lincoln Don't Lie, DJX and Dakota. A huge fireworks display is set to take place at nightfall. Oak Brook has scheduled July 4 as an alternative rain date for the fireworks show.
Admission to the Taste of Oak Brook is free and parking is $10. Handicap parking will be available at the Golf Clubhouse, with courtesy carts as shuttle service to the field. Visit the Taste of Oak Brook website for more information.
