Themed 'Escape The Room' Attraction Coming To Oak Brook
The 10,0000 square foot space will have multiple escape rooms and interactive puzzles.

OAK BROOK, IL — The successful New York-based masterminds behind Escape The Room are bringing their challenging themed escape rooms to Oak Brook Center. In April, Escape the Room will open a 10,000 square foot space at 60 Oakbrook Center filled with immersive rooms and interactive puzzles.
Each themed room is designed to baffle trapped participants as they try to find a path off 3-Mile Island or attepmt to outwit devious puppets in a theater-themed escape room.
Escape the Room guests have just 60 minutes to solve each puzzle by using clues that are hidden throughout the room and tucked away in character narratives. Officials say they have invested more than $1 million to build the Oak Brook location with "the best in technology to immerse the players into the atmosphere."

Founded in 2013, Escape the Room currently has nearly two dozen locations in the U.S., including New York City, Dallas, Detroit, San Antonio, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.
In a press release, the team from Escape the Room said they are "excited to be opening in the premier shopping destination in Chicago’s western suburbs."
