Man Cited, Woman Extricated From Car In Oak Brook Crash: Report
The woman's car hit two other cars as a result of the initial crash, according to reports.
OAK BROOK, IL — A Downers Grove man was cited on accusations of failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his car crashed into another car stopped in traffic Friday evening on eastbound 31st Street at Hunt Club Lane, according to the Chicago Tribune. The news report said a 28-year-old Chicago woman had to be extricated from her car after it rolled over due to being hit by a car driven by 36-year-old Justin Holtzman, of the 800 block of Warren Avenue.
According to Oak Brook Police Sgt. Danny Ramirez, two other cars stopped in traffic were hit by the woman's car as a result of the initial crash. However, Ramirez said the woman was the only one injured in the crash and was taken to a local hospital, according to the Chicago Tribune.
