5 Things to Do in Oak Forest this Week

Coming up this week:

  • The Oak Forest Park District "Breakfast Before Hours" will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Forest Park District Health and Fitness Center. Learn what the center has to offer you and your employees.
  • The Oak Forest City Council will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. View the agenda. The regular city council meeting begins at 8 p.m.
  • The Acorn Movie Club at the Acorn Public Library will screen John Cassavete's "A Woman Under the Influence" at 7 p.m. Wednesday. This program is for adults 18 and older only. No registration required.
  • Chicago Gaelic Park presents the play, "The Shadow of a Gunman" Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $12 for theater performance only. Dinner theater is also available.
  • An e-waste recycling event will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p..m. Saturday at the Oak Forest City Hall. Recycle televisions for $20. All other electronics recycling is free.
