OF Park District's Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night Coming Soon
The Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night, is a tradition for many families of Oak Forest and not to be missed.

The Father Daughter bond is an important one for girls. Research states that The Daddy and Daughter relationship is more important that many perceived. Dr. Gary Brown, Ph.D., a licensed marriage and family therapist in Los Angeles states, "It would be difficult to overstate the powerful influence that fathers have in the shaping of their daughters' views about their own self-image, values, sexuality, relationships, and their right to determine the course of their own lives."
The Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night is a night to celebrate the relationship between father and daughter and give them, some much needed time to have fun. It is a night to remember for the girls of Oak Forest and has been for many years.
This is "special night which comes alive with colored lights, balloons, sweetheart decorations and music," according to the Oak Forest Park District's website which hosts the program.

This night has become a tradition for many Oak Forest families. Dads and daughters enjoy the special night for years, starting when they are just toddlers and spanning all the way to their teenage years.
It is a night just for them, to dance to the D.J., eat popcorn and goodies and bond in a way exclusive to them. Every girl receives a corsage which is part of the tradition. It is held at Arbor Park Middle School and upon entering, the night turns magical from the decorations to the music playing.

My girls always loved dancing with their father and their girl friends from school. The night is not complete with out taking a professional pictures which is offered for an additional charge but well worth the money for the keepsake to treasure.
This is a night not to be missed for the daughters and dads of Oak Forest. Although registration ends on Thursday, January 31st, it is known to sell out early, so do not wait for the last minute.
