Best Hot Dog In Oak Forest Poll Reveals Clear Number 1

OAK FOREST, IL -- Wednesday was National Hot Dog Day, and Oak Forest residents were not shy about letting us know which places have the best dogs in town. For a city without a Portillo's in its limits, there's quite a bit of options in Oak Forest.

An Oak Forest Patch Facebook question on which place has the best hot dogs in town on Wednesday revealed a clear Number 1. That's Doug's Dogs, located on 159th Street two blocks east of Ridgeland Avenue.

Doug's, while a runaway winner, was not the only place given love by the Oak Forest hot dog-loving community. Here's a look at the top five places mentioned in the comments.
