The carjacking happened Tuesday afternoon in the 15500 block of Arroyo Drive in Oak Forest.

OAK FOREST, IL — Two men are accused of an armed carjacking Tuesday afternoon, stealing the vehicle while the victim sat parked in an Oak Forest driveway, police said Wednesday.
At around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the men approached the victim who was sitting inside the car in the 15500 block of Arroyo Drive, Oak Forest Police Chief Tim Kristin told Patch. One of the men — who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time — reportedly pointed a handgun in the victim's face, threatened bodily harm and demanded the person's personal property, Kristin said.
The victim told police the second man also was holding a handgun. Police said the victim and the carjackers exchanged more words before the men fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.
