Curbside Services at Acorn Public Library
Curbside check-outs and printing now available!

As of Wednesday, May 20, Acorn Public Library is offering curbside pickup service for library materials. Acorn cardholders can request items currently on shelf by placing a hold online in the SWAN catalog, by phone at 708.687.3706, or by email to curbside@acornlibrary.org. You will be notified when your items are ready for pickup; do not attempt to pick up your items until you have been notified. Items will be held for pickup for 7 days. Please return materials through the book drop.
Library staff will be appropriately attired and follow recommended guidelines for handling library materials. Items must be quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in. Note: this means items will stay on your account for approximately 3 days. Don’t worry! At this time no overdue fines are being charged on any library materials. Please expect longer than usual wait times for materials to be ready for pickup due to the extended quarantine time for returned materials.
Acorn Public Library is also offering curbside printing. Email documents that need to be printed to print@acornlibrary.org. The first $1.00 in printing fees each month is free for Acorn cardholders. Then regular printing fees apply: $0.10 per page for black and white and $0.50 per page for color. The cost will be added to your library card account. When the documents are printed, we will call you to schedule a curbside pick up time. Please include your name, library card number, and phone number in all correspondence.
