Get Up and Help Launches Random Acts of Kindness Project

Get Up and Help, a non-profit charity in Oak Forest began a new project today spotlighting giving back to those that serve our community.

Get Up and Help, a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity located in Oak Forest has a simple mission; to help it's community. They started in 2017 and have been busy feeding the homeless, donating clothing to those in need and setting up free classes at the Park District. They have started a new program called "You've Been Thanked." They perform random acts of kindness for those that volunteer and serve the community of Oak Forest. Today they delivered doughnuts to the fire station, the police station and to city hall. They believe it is just a small way to give back. They will be doing random acts of kindness on a monthly basis. So look out, you could be next.
