Help Find a Living Kidney Donor for Danny O!
Danny needs a live kidney transplant and his family needs help with the unmanageable medical bills that continue to pile up.
Danny Oganovich is a 20 year old from Midlothian, IL in the end stage of kidney failure. When he was first diagnosed with kidney failure his sophomore year of high school he was told he would not walk across the stage to graduate high school or finish his hockey career for the Cobras without a kidney transplant, but through prayer, family and friends along with a strict diet that slowed the progression of the disease, he accomplished both! Unfortunately, kidney disease has caught up with Danny and he is still looking to find a living kidney donor. As he waits and his condition worsens him and his family are left with unmanageable medical bills.
Danny says, he is “ready to wrap this up because I know the Lord has great, big plans for my life and I trust His timing,”..."A new kidney for me would mean so much … it would give me my life back … I could be a kid again, enjoy the summers at the lake, or at the pool, or just relax in the bathtub. I could just wake up and start my day and not have to worry about sterilizing my hands to disconnect from my dialysis machine,”...“If I don’t get a transplant, I will just remain on dialysis till it doesn’t work anymore and then, unfortunately, I would die because there would be no way to cleanse my blood any longer. The good Lord and dialysis are keeping me alive. Unless the Lord decides to heal me, I will need a transplant to live.”
